Four fabulous walks, all less than an hour by train from London. Box Hill and Back is a shortish loop around Box Hill in the Surrey Hills with a couple of good hills and a great pub. Easily accessible from London Waterloo and Victoria. Head for the Hills starts at Guildford Sation, just 35 minutes from London Waterloo. Those that have walked it are always amazed how rural this walk is, yet so close to London. Bound for the Beacon is 40 minutes from London Euston and a great adventure in The Chiltons. A Walk in the Park is only 30 minutes from London Bridge or Charing Cross and starts from Sevenoaks. Explore Knole Park and be amazed how much fun you can have in the outdoors so close to London.
