These are terms on which you may use  vespucciadventures.com  (“Site”). The Site is operated by Vespucci Adventures Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are registered in England and Wales (company number 10910481) and have our registered office at 1 Crossways Court, Haslemere Road, Fernhurst, West Sussex, GU27 3EP. Please read these terms of use carefully before you start to use our Site. By using our Site, you confirm that you accept these terms of use. We may revise these Terms at any time by amending this page.

These Terms of use refer to the following additional terms, which also apply to your use of our Site:

  • Our Privacy Policy, which sets out the terms on which we process any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us.

  • Our Terms of Sale, which sets out the terms on which we sell the goods and services from our online shop.

We do not guarantee that our Site, or any content on it, will be free from errors or omissions. We also do not guarantee that our Site, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw, discontinue or change all or any part of our Site without notice. We will not be liable to you if for any reason our Site is unavailable at any time.

Information available on our Site

The content on our Site is provided for general information only. It is not intended to amount to advice on which you should rely. Although we make reasonable efforts to update the information on our Site, we make no representations, warranties or guarantees that the content on our Site is accurate, complete or up-to-date.

Our routes have been prepared with great care and all routes will have been walked or cycled by us before being featured on the Site. However, diversions can occur over time, along with changes to the landscape and we cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies in any material on the Site or any other website linked to the Site, that result from any changes to the routes.

Our maps are based on GPS route data, and they are included to give the reader a map reference to use in conjunction with the text and photographs. However, for the benefit of a more detailed map, we recommend you purchase the Ordnance Survey map covering the area of the walk.

Limitation of our liability

You acknowledge and agree that any information and materials provided on this Site may contain inaccuracies or errors and we exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law. We will not be liable to any user for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with:

  • use of, or inability to use, our Site; or

  • use of or reliance on any content displayed on our Site.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

We only provide our Site for domestic and private use. You agree not to use our Site for any commercial or business purposes, and you acknowledge that we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

Uploading content to our Site

Our Site allows users to contribute their own content to the Site (“User Content”). By contributing User Content, you grant us an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, fully-paid, royalty-free, worldwide licence, by ourselves or with others, to use, copy, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, print, publish, republish, excerpt in whole or in part, reformat, translate, modify, revise and incorporate into other works, that User Content and any works derived from that User Content, in any form or expression, in any manner, and to licence or permit others to do so.

If you choose to contribute User Content, you must abide by the following rules:

  • Play nice. Our users all have the right to feel comfortable and who may not think what you think, believe what you believe, or see what you see. So, be polite and respectful in your interactions with other users.

  • Only upload content that you have created. Respect the copyright of others. This means don’t take others’ content and pass it off as your own.

  • Don’t forget the children. If you would hesitate to show the User Content to a child, your family, or a stranger on the street, that means you shouldn’t post it.

  • Don’t upload content that is illegal or prohibited. If we find you doing that, we’ll take appropriate action, which may include reporting you to the authorities.

  • Don’t vent your frustrations, rant, or bore other users. Our Site is not a venue for you to harass, abuse, spam, impersonate, or intimidate others.

  • Don’t spam. We don’t tolerate spam, or other abusive means to generate revenue and traffic to third parties.

From time to time our Site may contain references and links to content, products, services or other offerings of third parties (“Third Parties”). Such references and links do not constitute or imply an endorsement or recommendation by us of any such Third Party and in no way should be interpreted as an acceptance of responsibility or liability for Third Parties. You acknowledge and agree that we shall have no liability of any kind for any content, products, services or other offerings made available by Third Parties.

Applicable law

These Terms are governed by English law. We both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
