“Discover the beautiful scenery, rolling hills and magnificent viewpoints right on Brighton’s doorstep.”
CURATOR’S VIEW
“This hike is perfectly set up for a great weekender. The countryside surrounding Brighton is so beautiful, and incredibly close to the city. It’s amazing how immersed you can be in nature, but still be so close to the buzz of Brighton. This route is glorious, and the views at Ditchling Beacon are some of the best around.”

Claire Marchant –
A wonderful walk that was full of gorgeous scenic views that eventually led us down into the city of Brighton which was an interesting contrast and welcomed refreshments by the sea! We were fortunate to have good weather and could see long and far, enjoying spectacular scenery. We found it took us a bit less than the 4.15 hrs. Both my dog and my friend had a most memorable afternoon. We stayed at The Artist Residence that evening in central Brighton, which was a perfect end to the day.
