There are plenty of highlights to look out for along the way. One of the harder ones to miss is the catchy ‘ArcelorMittal Orbit’, or just the Orbit. The 115-metre-high structure is Britain’s largest piece of public art and was labelled by The Times as the “Godzilla of public art”, but we’ll let you make your own mind up.The London Stadium, seemingly moated by the River Lea, is also an impressive feature on this route.A top highlight however has got to be the fantastic range of bars, barges and pubs available to you along the canal. If you know where to go, you can find some awesome places to enjoy a bite to eat or a canal-side pint, without the hoard of hipsters.

Quick Escapes will be available to download post-purchase, they will also be sent to you via email?

We’ve teamed up with MR PORTER to celebrate World Mental Health Day and the second anniversary of their content and fundraising initiative, MR PORTER Health in Mind, which helps men to live healthier and happier lives. Their latest campaign, #MRPORTERGoOut, is all about the healing power of time spent with good friends in the great outdoors – and the positive impact that has on both your mental and physical health. So, we’ve come together to create some bespoke, London-based walks, complete with route info and café recs, to help get people walking and talking.
